"Vanilla – That certain something!"
Wollenhaupt Vanille and I:
I joined the company Gebrüder Wollenhaupt in 1997. Selling tea and herb mixtures to our international customers was my daily task. Due to the unlimited combinations of natural ingredients, I enjoyed the tea division and the contact with our international partners at all times. I worked for the tea division for 20 years and became Sales Director for our international wholesales customers in more than 70 countries around the world.
From the very beginning, I came into contact with vanilla. Therefore, I am particularly pleased to take over as Sales Director Vanilla starting in 2017. We have a lot of plans concerning vanilla extracts, vanilla pastes and vanilla flavors!
I am happy to use my extensive language skills and curiosity about foreign cultures in the world of vanilla.
Apart from work, I like to plan trips to distant countries with my family. Playing soccer keeps me fit, but from time to time, I also enjoy a glass of red wine – preferably with an elegant touch of vanilla.
My secret vanilla recipe:
All year long, I am looking forward to the Christmas baking with my family. According to age-old traditions, we make a tin of biscuits with a spice mixture containing cumin and a vanilla pod, which gives them a perfect flavor. Highly enjoyable, not only during Christmas season!
